Holy Week and Easter 2024
Following on from our Palm Sunday service at the usual time of 10am on Sunday March 24th, the following special services are taking place for Holy Week and Easter. Join us for a traditional celebration through the journey of Jesus’ passion and a celebration of new life and light at Easter!
Monday 25th-Wednesday 27th March

Maundy Thursday 28th March
7:00PM EUCHARIST WITH FOOT WASHING
1.5 hour service followed by optional vigil to midnight. 1 hour slots for the Vigil can be booked through a sign up sheet at Church or by e-mail.
Good Friday 29th March
12:00 STATIONS OF THE CROSS | 13:00 SHARED LUNCH | 14:00 LITURGY OF THE CROSS
A set of solemn services marking the last hours, drop in as you can. The day starts with our traditional journey through the Stations of the Cross using our beautiful brass stations by the Italian sculptor Andreas Moroder. After a simple shared lunch, we will obverse a liturgy of the cross as we keep the last hour until Jesus’ death.

We celebrate the new light and life of Easter together. Join us for a dawn service in our Church garden, tend the Easter Fire and share breakfast, and celebrate the main Easter Liturgy at 10am!
Easter Monday 1st April
12:00-14:00 EASTER BONNET MAKING AND COMMUNITY PICNIC
A family activity for people of all faiths and none, bring your own picnic! Children and big kids can join in a bonnet making craft activity, followed by a bonnet parade and bring-your-own picnic. If the weather is good we will do some planting in our new community garden too!
